pompino or road rat

there's quite a price jump between these two frames, has anyone used either as a touring bike? if so did they flex at all/annoyingly with a fully loaded rear rack.

Pompino's singlespeed I think, so a better comparison would be the Planet-X Kaffenback, which is the geared version.

pompino can come in 135 spaced rear, and the horizontal dropouts are suitable
for my particular perversion
