It's popular in the US. I can't stand cinnamon, and I had to put up with my daughters munching jumbo buckets of it at close proximity.
Oooh, right, I might look for a recipe.

plain nowadays but it used to be buttered until I became allergic to dairy....
do like the idea of paprika though... cumin & coriander with a touch of paprika could work... hummmm off to play experiment

I love toffee popcorn, but the last time I had some a I broke a crown, and had to have an implant to replace it. Very very expensive bag of popcorn that was.

I dunno, salted caramel seems to be the "in" flavour at the moment. Salt and sweet can work well. Salt and chocolate is one of those  combos that works.

True! I like salted peanuts (and peanut butter) with chocolate.. and tried once to add milk chocolate to a white cheese pie. Both worked very well mind you! :mrpig:
OK, I am sold! I will experiment with toffee and salted popcorn and return for feedback!

When I was a kid, Mum would give us a little snack when we got in from school - a saucer on which were a few crisps, a few salted peanuts, a little piece of cheese and a few Smarties or Chocolate Buttons. I always ate the salty stuff first, then the chocolate, and the first couple of chocolates always tasted odd - odd but nice... Then I finished off with the cheese, coz I liked that best.
