Nah, slow cooker, if you've got one. Use a couple of carrots couple of onions stick of celery and plenty of black pepper, maybe a few mushrooms and a bottle of a robust red (merlot ,rioja or cabernet sauvignon) 8 or 9 hours later the most tender beef you've ever eaten plus the stock makes the best gravy.:hungry:
Edit- I sear the beef first.
