I've booked flights to go to Portugal for a week next August for 3 of us and now just need to find accommodation.
I'm a proper cheap skate and like basic accommodation but I'm struggling to find any through Alpharooms, booking.com, house trip etc. The cheapest I've found so far is £600 and I'm not keen on that!

I'd like it to be pretty close to Faro airport with some bars, restaurants etc. nearby. Oh, and to have a swimming pool.

Any ideas?

You want a cheap place in the most expensive month with a pool in a good location given the crash of the £? I think you need to be more realistic as to what it will cost.

I'd say that price for one of the most popular weeks of the year in a property with a pool sounds cheap.

If you want cheaper you need to look at less popular locations and/or ditch the pool prerequisite

Sell the kids and you can put the money towards a really nice place with a pool anytime you like.

You have to be registered before you can sell children, though that may only apply to other people's kids not your own.
