Looking for the above on a paint by numbers style

I use a single PowerPoint slide to create my posters. You just set the margins for the size of paper you are using. Not perfect but very simple to use. I've used it for up to A0 size without problems. You can also convert it into a PDF if necessary

What a good idea, Im a power-point whizz, yet I'd never even thought of that !
