As you may know, I have prostate problems and was due for my second biopsy today. The first one was 18 months ago and was clear. Anyway, because I should have gone for a number two before going to the hospital, they couldn't do it for risk of infection so it is rebooked for early June. Anyway, got talking to the consultant and mentioned the cycling to which he replied that after my next biopsy, he doesn't want me to ride for 6 weeks, due to pressure on the prostate. 6 WEEKS!! and just when the weather is supposed to get better! That will be Chinese torture I tell you. Oh how I wish I was young again!

Sympathies, I've had a biopsy & small down that way op recently that has kept me off my bike more than I anticipated. Its awful being trapped in a car shaped box or limited from just going on a meander by public transport
