Well I picked up my first puncture this morning, Cycling from Telford Station to the local business park (Stafford Park) Loads of class on the cycle path, poor tyre and innertube didnt stand much of a chance.

Fired of an email this morning asking for the glass to be cleared, got a phone call about 10 min ago saying they will send some one out today or first thing tomorrow to clear it all up

Wish they'd do that in York. Preferably with out prompting and more than one every two years (wether it needs it or not)

You mean, you actually have someone who cleans up the glass? I often stop and kick most of it (what I can) off the path. I try to keep an eye out for unbroken bottles, which I pick up and dustbin. If I don't, and kids find them, they'll break them on the path. Mondays are usually the worst, especially after a holiday weekend in nice weather.

I lived in Telford for a few years, the council were great, always responsive. They seem to have an unusual policy where the residents pay them money every month, and they spend it on facilities for the residents, unlike Dudley council.

Ask Birmingham to clean the bike paths and they go 'round the Wrekin' before they do anything.

Im getting used to the joys of Dudley Council but still the glass was there this morning so hopefully it will be gone when I leave tonight.

Well they kept to there word and cleaned all the glass up of the path
