Bit difficult to describe my cousin, his wife and family as anything other than a bit precious, but they've recently lost their old cat, a pedigree Longhaired Somali. It was one of a pair, but the litter mate paid very highly for his remarkable resemblance to a fox several years ago, (at least to the poultry farmer down the road....
) Needless to say they decided they had to replace him, and have been scouring various ads for breeders etc.
They announced their decision to replace the cat like for like with another Longhaired Somali, and young Cubette misheard, or mispronounced, and asked why Aunty Roz was looking for a long hairy salami....
