I know some of you like to keep up with Lukes Progress, so I thought I d share this with you.

Today he rode the red route in Brechfa forest. 17 Kms 1070m of climbing in just under 4 hrs.

Very proud dad, and very happy son.

My best days cycling in many years !

It faired very well Crax. I have you to thank for pointing me towards them

It just goes to show its not about the bike. But for kids there is nothing better IMO.

By the way I still owe you that pint !

You must really be proum of him. My eldest niece seems to have natural tallent and I would love to be able to ride around a route with her one day. She is 5 iirc.

I am. Puts things in perspective, when you just see someone enjoying their bike for what it is.

As I said the most enjoyable days cycling. Probably since I was a kid.

Nice one LD! You'll be giving him the Garmin soon so he can lead.

I still get a kick out of riding with my son, who's now 27.
