Puppy Therapy

Went to a Paws in Work session this week at our office. They bring in puppies for a play session with employees, which helps the puppies to deal with socialisation prior to going off to their future owners, and helps the employees by offering a fun diversion for 30mins away from the desk. I loved it, and probably had the most productive day in the office for years. Funny how these things impact your outlook on life. In our case we had a litter of seven long-haired Daschund puppies.

Anyone else done anything similar? I’m lucky to have experienced a great workplace perk, and will definitely go back next time.

I used to take my then puppy into work at weekends which happened when eg financial system failed and finance had to spend the weekend re-processing from most recent backup or year end or audit or .... Didn't work well as puppy loved the attention, finance team loved having puppy to play with but what should have taken a day took a lot lot longer.
