He was a great showman, sadly missed.

Better than the shite nowadays.

God I just sounded like my dad!!

I have a lingering fondness for Queen, like the feeling you have for a long departed ex. But Freddie was a bit of a star and I've have loved to go out for a drink with the old poove. He was bloody good....

Missed the show tonight but watched/listened to the Queen Live Aid performance last night on youtube.

Having seen Queen a few times in my "yoof", although Milton Keynes Bowl wasn't exactly Rio, these old reruns are always good for reminiscing.

But why oh why did they have to go the Paul Rodgers route?

Happy birthday Fred, 63 today.

Cheers, Alien8

God knows, at least John Deacon has the sense to steer well clear. They really should have called it quits once Freddie died.

Nice avatar btw, brought back a few memories. Maybe we should have an 80's Speccy games thread?

Taking the biscuit
I was given a pre release copy of 'The Cosmos Rocks' the recent album by the Rodgers fronted Queen and frankly I couldn't listen past the first few tracks.

Unmitigatedly dire.
