- York. Well, York-ish...
I'm selling my Quest - now that I no longer regularly commute, it's not getting much use, and that's a shame.
I'll have it at the York rally next weekend if you'd like to come and look at/fondle/test-ride/buy it.
It's no. 311 - Wim Schermer is among its previous owners. He experimented with various "upgrades" to its electrics, all of which I've removed and replaced, with a mostly 12V system, including much bigger and more visible indicators and a B&M headlight. It had complete new steering and front suspension a couple of hundred miles ago. It has a carbon tub and a glass fibre lid, aluminium rear swing arm. The "coathanger" is intact.
A foam cockpit cover, a Ventisit cushion, a lithium battery pack and charger are all included.
The previous owner rolled it at least once, and it's seen a fair bit of real-world actions, so the body is a bit rough and ready, but it looks great from a distance! - and everything's mechanically sound.
Also available are a trailer I modified to carry it (or any velo except perhaps a Quatrovelo) around in, and Het Questhuis, a kind of drive-in hangar I built to keep it secure and out of the weather.
Find me at the rally (my phone number will be on the side of the velo) or contact me here if you want to know more.
Looking for ~£2k.
