About half a year ago I wanted a road bike for my birthday and was got this. It's a Viking Phantom 53cm, it's not the lightest thing in the world but it seems to work without any real problems. The actual bike is slightly different to the one in the picture, the fork isn't curved and the pedals have clips. However it seems too highly geared for me and I struggle going up some hills with it.
A lot of people seem to recommend the Triban 3 and I want to know if I were to get this bike later on, is it really much of an improvement in quality?
