A while ago i asked for advice about stopping in a travel inn type hotel in London and was offered quite abit of advice.
Tonight after searching the net i came across this offer for the travelodge chain in London's Waterloo area.

What i'd like to know is if this area of london is suitable for taking a family to? The room rate is very cheap compared to other travel inns in London (about £40 a night cheaper) and the hotel is just near to the Elephant and Castle tube station which sounds ideal.
If this turned out to be a bad idea then we'd probably go for a travel inn on city road
Any comments would be most welcome!!
ta very much

either. And if you fancy fish and chips try the fishcotheque on Waterloo road opposite the tube stn it might be a lousy name but pretty good food. Have an enjoyable stay.
