I'll be buying a new wheelset soon and one of my requirements is that the freehub is as quiet as possible. I'm definitely not a fan of Chris King style clickiness!
All the Shimano hubs I've ever used have been very quiet - are there any other manufacturers that produce silent hubs? Budget is approx £100 for front and rear.

I guess the new wheel resonates.


I've nothing against Campagnolo, but I know I like Shimano and I have a set of Ultegra shifters to go on the build, so it needs to be Shimano freehub compatible.
and ordered a Shimano compatible wheel, d'oh! One Shimano 10 speed cassette later and the job was sorted.
