Hi, looking for some information, can anyone tell me about my vintage frame? (recently purchased). It's an R J QUINN, has a 'Q' prefix frame number but between the 'Q' and first digit there is small letter 'B'. Any ideas as to year or what it may have been built up with? Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.
I would have fitted first gen Dura Ace LOL Thanks for your reply, will add more pics, it has Campag dropouts so going to use nuovo record I think. It's also going to be bar end shifters as the downtube has the braze-ons for these. This is my first vintage build so lacking any knowledge/experience but looking forward to it!R J Quinn frames Hail from Liverpool as you know, the ones I have come across have been very nicely made. The dropouts, cable routing and style puts it in the 1970's.
Back then people used kit on their bikes that they bought, scrounged or simply liked the look of. Campag Gran Sport or Nuovo Record would have been a popular choice
More pics would be nice, lugs, seat cluster, dropouts etc
