Bob Larbey has died.... the co-writer (with John Esmonde) of The Good Life, Brushstrokes, Ever decreasing circles, on the up and loads more.....

I grew up watching most of the above and really enjoyed them......

My wife' mothers maiden name is Larbey and I jokingly asked her years ago if she was related to him....

'Oh yeah he's my Grandad's cousin' was her reply

I never met you Bob but your words made laugh.....

@shouldbeinbed mentioned that one as well.... I'd forgotten it until then..... wasn't it Robert lyndsey who left it to star in Citizen Smith and was replaced Karl Howman (Brush strokes and flash adverts)

I used to like the Good Life, but I also liked this Young Ones episode that dissed it somewhat... (and Neil's dad said "Felicity Kendal is sweetly pretty, and I want to protect her')
