Rabbit down :-(

Alas, just got the bad news from the vet, she's not quite at the glue factory yet, but it's not the cheery end to the day I wanted

So she's had her painkillers and is happily stoned, I'm going to get refreshed with some aldi wine and have a biiiig fire in the back yard.

Anyone in the area with excess combustibles and fancies joining in, follow the smoke and bring booze / glue / whatever your poison is.

i know it's not quite the same but if it helps we have been losing some of the lambs on the farm i am lambing at currently
go for a ride to take your mind off the matter for a few hours? better for the liver than beer and wine!

Too right, I know the vet aside from them being my vet, in my more, ahem, emotional moments, I made them swear to not tell anyone we know lol.

I had a rabbit for 5 years after saving him from a busy road. He had a good life,we even let him in the house one Christmas Day but it didn't last long as he peed on the carpet and tried to bite through the tree lights cable!
He's buried in my grandparents grave along with my daughter's pet hamster. The funny thing was that as i was digging the hole to bury him the dog warden happened to be in the cemetery and asked me to put my docile dog on a lead,even though she was just led there waiting for me to finish. I did and he walked away with a jobsworth contented smile on his face,not realising that i'd broken the rule of burying the rabbit in a humans only cemetery and he'd completely missed it
!
