Anyone been listening to Radio 3's run through the entire Mozart oeuvre?

Much as I like Wolfgang Amadeus, 12 days non-stop seems a bit OTT.

He did write some pretty pedestrian stuff and, whilst amusing, I'm not entirely sure that pieces for tuned beer glasses add a great deal. If nothing else though, it does demonstrate the astonishing volume of stuff he wrote.

Anyhow, you can't doubt the genius...

Same piece, but somewhat different performances.

Must admit I got bored and got out some Haydn

I joke - I got out some Bach to remind me what real music sounds like. I realised I enjoy Mozart in very small amounts for the most part.

Same here. But I did listen to a lot of the 'Every Note of Johann Sebastian' that they did a couple of years ago - there was less of it and I like it more. Some Mozart is a bit modern for me.
