Hi

I use the classic Sony ICF S22 FM AM for cycle touring. I had one for 8 years though lost it a few year back, I went out imediatly and got another one

Ive actually got in on now listening to radio 5 Live with the tennis :-)

The reception is excellent and I have never had a problem with reception in the most remote of places in the UK with its telescopic 15" ariel. It's dimensions are 1" x 3" x 4" and users 2 AA batteries that run for ever and the radio only cost about £10

Its downside is the female phono input. This only gives mono and only works in either left or right, not both. Also as its been in production for so many years it don't have MP3.

Hi

Ive never used it while actually cycling, only cycle touring in the tent ect.

I do use it on the move though quite a lot while walking and never had any issues. needs fine tuning every now and again though I guess you'd need to do that with any FM / AM radio on the move ?

Hope that helps
