Picked this 1983 Raleigh Competition up earlier today. And after a quick wipe down and some tyre inflation a short ride around the block and all seams to be working.

Still got most of the original components apart from the from front and possibly rear wheel. Ride's well enough.

It's even got some Alfred Bindo straps

A little after my time (just) but with fastback seat stays and sloping fork crown it's firmly in the classic genre :smile:

must admit this is the 2nd one i have had and the rear stays and the colour are both good points

Nice bike mete. I also see the door is open to Biggs' bicycle cave.... Oh what wonders must be in there.....

well at the moment 2 x Ian Mays , a Dave Hinde , Pollard Single Speed , 3 x Aende's , Claud Butler Sierra , Tony Braithwaite and the list goes on :bicycle:
