What did you do to the lids?
You needed to dab the edge of the pies with water and then lightly crimp the edge of the lids onto the pies so the lids dont shrink away from the pies.

Lids are a bit small, but they look lovely.

M&S started doing them all year round, but I don't think they do any more.
Pity, as I'd have them as a weekly treat.

If the mince pies are going to last longer than an hour or two, I'll do that.. But the smaller lids gave me enough pastry to make one more mince pie
