Does anyone know who this menace is? Rea Valley Cyclepath this afternoon. From what I saw of the bike it wasn't street legal - what appears to be a headlight on the video looked more like a white circle for a competition number.

Missed videoing most of his antics because my cam was off initially, but first heard in distance, then raced up behind a cyclist coming towards me, stopped, turned, chewed up grass then when back onto path wheelied along a bit, then stopped and turned back, the rest you see, could hear him continuing while I continued on. Calls to police 101 got no reply, should have tried 999 I suppose but it was almost rush hour anyway so they wouldn't have got him.

If anyone local knows a local Birmingham police contact I can send the video to please let me know.

I have to admit I was a tad brassed off about him, I was returning on the cyclepath having had one too many close shaves on my outward journey into Brum earlier in the day - I'm fed up of being intimidated on the road but this

Your local Police should have a motorcycle scrambler nuisance officer, if the job hasn't been axed.

I've had a few run ins with the local motorbike mad yoof on the Bristol Railway Path. Best you can do is try and get a good shot of their faces, if they're as stupid as this rider and not wearing a helmet. Then pass it on to the local police. Oh, and put it up on your YouTube channel if you have one so that the world can see their stupidity.

Simple advice is report to the police with as much info as possible. They may not be able to act straight away, but if they can build up a patten over time , they can be quite successful.

It's worked for me a good few times

Is there a users group or appreciation society on Facebook for what ever park that is. If so join and post.
Our local one is very good with any naughtyness being reported and corroborated, the local beat officer and the council parks warden also post there so they pick up on it all too
