reached the landmark 1000 miles today

i reached the 1000 miles today, i was well pleased, as i watched the mileometer go from 999.9 to 1000, i know many of you have been there and done it, but i think its a special moment in any cyclist commute or ride

It's the next thousand through the winter that'll be more 'interesting' though! Oh, to be commuting in Southern California...

i ride in any weather except the ICE, i hate the stuff, came off my motorbike at 60 mph on ice, not nice lol, so i have a little fear of ice

certainly is a good feeling mr rauk.
the secteurs are good bikes, i think there brill for a first road bike, really happy with mine.
I enjoy my commute to work and back, just lately down here in Swansea its been 2/3 degrees in the morn, and i arrive to work nice and toasty, full of the fresh air, and i see all the blokes in work all wrapped up saying "its bloody freezing".........i laugh at them and just say "thats what you get for coming in your cars"

And with those 5000odd miles comes a new Crankset. New Pedals, New Chain (twice), new cassette (twice), New brake cables, new wheels.. and umpteen brake blocks... I ride the beasty hard....
