They've done something I really hate in that marketing. They've invented a whole raft of 'problems' with current locking/carrying/folding systems. Problems that aren't problems. But they have to be problems, or the inventors haven't 'solved' them...

The handlebar lock is moderately interesting, but I bet sooner or later you come up with a situation where that won't fit around the only thing suitable for locking the bike to.

As for being able to carry anything (as long as it's shaped like an A4 notepad) in the frame....

Some good ideas there.

Cost?

With all those custom parts I'd guess the cost would be carbon/ disc wheel TT bike territory, but I suppose it's a concept bike not intended for production.

No interchangeable parts so you'd be stuck with expensive replacements from the original supplier. Upgrading would be difficult.I agree with the critcism of not enclosing a belt drive and incorporating mudguards and rack.

Looks good but not the seat post/frame junction which lacks flair.

For my two penne'th:
Normal bike frame is two triangles stuck together- take away one side of the triangle (as you have here) and you need lots more material to get the strength in it. So design is at cost of weight.
While the frame is good it looks odd with standard stem stuck in it.
Not sure where it is aimed - general runabout, full on racing bike?
I think arch nailed it with comment that it is fixing soemthing that is not broken.

All looks a bit 'Meh' to me.
I have no objection to oddball designs - I have a Kirk, and I reckon the LotusSport bike is possibly the most beautiful bike that could ever exist - but the Ncycle looks like a solution desperately seeking a problem.
