She's away for a few days, and now when I drop food, I have to bend down and pick it up.
Ha, ha......I think they must all be the same. Keep thinking I should nickname mine Dyson!

Wish my dog would help clean the floor. If I chuck him some food he just looks at me and waits for it to be moved to his bowl. He's a Border Collie of questionable parentage and the strongest herding instinct I've had in a Collie. Especially when you consider he was never given any herding training. Heck he trys to herd my kids

I recently visited my parents and found it strange to be able to leave food lying on the table without having to keep guard for dogs and cats on a raiding mission!

I never miss my dog, wherever I am... That's because no matter what jacket I put on, I always find dog treats lurking in a pocket somewhere. It's like he never leaves my side...

We had our 14yo black lab put down 4 years ago and we do miss him for his "hairy Hoover" skills.

But.... I will also admit to enjoying not wading through ankle deep dog hair all the time!

After our dog took his last trip to the vets, it was a real novelty to be able to leave the door of the dishwasher open, without immediately finding a dog going "prospecting" amongst the dirty dishes.....

My wee doggie died Last August. I still miss her.
