rear mech

Not a happy cyclist on way home going up a hill, I heard a crunch and rear mech had sheard off wheels seem to be ok no broken spokes that i can see.
Lucky for me I have a back up bike but i hate to think of how much a new rear mech is

Its probably just the mech hanger, these are made of light alu and are designed to fail first in the event of a knock so no damage is done to the frame; that'll only cos £10-15 to replace.

It does look like the mech hanger has sheard off so not as bad as I thought.
