rear racks

Since I am using my mtb for commuting and road rides at nite ALL the time now can anyone recommend any bike racks and panniers?

I have seen a few racks I like the look of (Topeak, Blackburn) but am unsure if they will fit my 16" frame and 26" wheels ok. I presume they are standard sizes.

any suggestions will be appreciated

Most racks hava fixed "Height that is determined by the rack itself, but the connecting rods between the rack and the seat stays are moveable in both length and angle. it is this that gives the adjustment.

This Topeak PDF gives an example of how a rack fits.

Any rack that is designed for 26" should be adequate, but if you are concerned, te the bike with you, as most shops will not objectto you "offering up" the rack to the bike to ensure it fits.
