Just got off my bike to find the rear wheel is rubbing, almost jammed on the left brake block. (Was wondering why the headwind was so strong:-)

It's a new bike and I notice the rear wheel has came out of true after only 5 miles and also I could hear a sound when putting down power which sounded like the spokes rubbing where they cross.

So I think the dishing is completely out and I need to tighten the drive side.

That or something up with the brake caliper. But looking at the wheel at the top most point it does seem well over to the left in relation to the mudguards which are pretty central.

So worth tightening the drive side spokes? Don't want to make things worse though

Will be taking it back to the shop but its not very local and I could do with fixing the bike to commute on

Thanks. That seems to have fixed it. I guess the nuts were slightly too loose at the shop because I've done about 100miles since.

How tight should the axel nuts be? Just gave it 7/10 with a short spanner. I guess that's about 10-20 Nm
