My friend has exactly the same issue. You obviously don’t ride hard enough

The gel gloves have always added pressure complications with me. I now lean towards very plain gloves with minimal padding. The micro-shuffles of the glove lessen the impact.

My shoulder isn’t as bad as yours but when it needs respite I either put more weight on the pedals or shift into a harder gear, putting more power through the legs, which takes weight off the hands and saddle.
