Recommend a good bike computer

I just want one to log the basics such as time travelled actually moving; distance; speed etc.
Can you recommend one that isn't too expensive ?

Have a look at the Count 4 computer at Decathlon.

I had a Count 8 for a while and it was a great little computer TBH.

how much ,i defo go for the cateye strada ,very easy to use and looks the part

I use the Cateye Velo wireless, never had an issue, not too expensive

Not saying others aren't as good, but can't go wrong with a Sigma IME. On Ebay, but may be cheaper elsewhere.
