Hi all,
Met with some friends yesterday from a local cycling club and we all got talking about maybe undertaking a very long ride in the summer.
We had different opinions and suggestions for a days ride or a weekends ride.
The days ride would consist of taking the train to somewhere like Grantham and riding back from there.
The weekends ride might consist for instance with a drive to Derby and then riding round there are over a weekend.
Does anyone have any suggestion for a 100 mile ride from a set location back to Peterborough whereby we can take a bike on a train to get there with a planned out route ?
What about a good location for a weekends ride ? We where thinking of either camping or stopping off at a travellodge as you can get some £19 deals.
