GrumpyGregry

Here for rides.
The combination of V section rims and a very rigid unbutted steel frame (Charge Plug) on 28's at 100 psi is fine around town but too punishing for riding out-of-town for any period.

What rolls reasonable well with a little more of a forgiving nature?

I found the 37mm Conti Contact's (forget which model, Top? City? ) good rolling tyres with a good record and you can get larger if you want. However due to cost recently I bought last years Conti Reflex City Rides for £12, they seem to roll well and haven't p'tured as of yet but its too early to say but hopefully they will perform similar to the contacts.

The middle bit
I replaced my Conti Contacts with Michelin World Tours in 35mm. 7 quid each from CRC. A few thousand miles in on the commuter and they're doing fine.
