Panniers, single or double - either would be ok.

I've been falling out with my rucksack for a while, and now the rack I bought off MacB has arrived, so I'm thinking of getting panniers, and doing away with my rucksack.

I've never used them before, and I certainly don't want to spend a lot. Also, with size 12 feet I've always worried about my heels hitting the panniers, is this likely in anyones experience, or am I worrying about nothing?

I won't be doing any touring, just commuting, so any advice/recommendations welcome

Look up Edinburgh Bicycle.Their Revolution gear is cheap and tough.I am a big fan of this outfit.

I invested in the Ortlieb back roller plus last year. They're expensive, but they're great for my needs: Commuting and a bit of touring.

Very waterproof, hard-wearing and very easy to adjust and get on and off the bike.
