.... a HRM. I'd like to record, as it happens, some HR data. Specifically I seem to run out of beats per min on some hills now. My heart guy said evidence would be useful. So need to record HR as a function of time as recovery from that max HR is a useful number. Thoughts from the collective would be very helpful.
TIA

Wahoo TICKR - found it more reliable than my previous Garmin HRM.

When I was looking Decathlon were the cheapest, if it's only temporarily I can send you mine, I rarely use it, but like to use it occasionally to prove I'm still alive

Is it a wrist watch type, or more bike specific that you're looking for?

Also, do you have a particular budget in mind?
Haven't worn a wrist thing for many a long year so I may need to adjust to that if I went that way. But - yes it's for cycling. I suppose I could maybe employ it on walks but I tend to dawdle on those.

Budget - well as cheap as is sensibly possible. (Deep pockets, short arms)

Well thanks for the offer. Not sure at this stage if I will need it indefinitely or not. See how things go:smile:. Be warned tho'. A friend lent me his some years ago and Mrs 26 moved things (it's her speciality  ) so that half of it went AWOL. The missing part did turn up eventually but not before I had to embarrassingly admit that it had been lost.
