So does anyone have any thoughts on the Redline flight monocog? I test rode one today at the lbs and it seems pretty nice. This is a older model he has, I think its a 05, Im thinking he is a little high one price($500) but it does have some high end cog on it right now that I can not remember the brand to save my life. Anyway, just thought I would get some feedback if anyone has any on it.

I've no personal experience but a scan of the spec online suggests they're well thought of and a good buy.

You may struggle for feedback on it here as I believe the majority of users are British. Redline isn't a brand I'd heard of until you mentioned it. By the looks of things they only seem to sell BMX in the UK.

Thanks Andy, I'm still on the fence on this one, it is about a 8 yo bike(the one I'm looking at) So i may offer him a little less for it.

Going off Google again, you seem to be able to get a new one for $1,000?

If that's the case, I'd agree that half price seems a little steep for a used (and potentially abused) model, regardless of fancy upgrades.

Looks a nice bike though. Happy haggling!

Well I picked up the Redline......im still in pretty rough shape after my fall last Sunday so I have not had any time to ride it. It does have a White Industry freewheel on it so thats a plus right there. Right now its set up 32/16 which is a little low but great for hills. I will post some pics of it tomorrow.

Nice looking Flight! I have a regular 2012 Monocog and absolutely love it! Redline hit a homerun with the Monocog, in my opinion. Great bikes at decent prices. I'd say your flight was a good deal at $500.

I have upgraded the forks, and added disc brakes front and back. Also switched to wider swept back bars. Those are not in this pic
