Has anyone seen these? I've just been told it's common in the Netherlands, where reflectors that clip on to the spokes are unusual. It seems better, but I can only find one "shop" selling them in the UK: here (eBay). It seems to be £4 for a set of four (if I understand the listing correctly) which seems OK.

I'm sure the guy won't mind me stealing his image:

Ah, apparently in NL the reflective bit is usually part of the rim or tyre, rather than a sticker.

Yes, I've got reflective sidewalls on my winter bike tyres. I did wonder how that sticker affects brakes. Fine if you have discs or hub brakes (my winter bike has hub) but not perhaps for rim brakes?

I have heard of people putting reflective tape on the rim between the spokes, it is supposed to be quite affective...

This is popular with (motor)bikers - I have reflective rim tape on my motorbike.

I did a google search and found some here: http://www.movinggraphics.co.uk/sto...reflective-wheel-rim-tape-stripes/prod_3.html

Or, I just found this, which you could cover your rim and spokes with, perhaps even your whole bike! I am thinking of getting some: http://www.apetape.co.uk/index.php?...ay-paint&sid=g7xb7lq734o4e232f1x02a7vlu0f0okd

You can also get it in many motorbike shops - Hein Gerricke usually carry it.
