Yes, I have tape similar to that on my bikes. It is easy to apply and reflects well. I find it tends to stick really well so is fiddly if you try to remove it. It can be repositioned when first fitted without too much trouble though (usually).

Can I just ask what tyres are reflecting in the background?
As for the tape, I used something similar on my old Kona MTB on the front and rear forks to give a bit of sideways reflection. Worked very nicely and you're right - It's a real sod to get off once it's been on a while.

Those particular ones are a set of Duro City Cavalier, but there are a fair few tyres on the market with reflective sidewalls now and they are all very effective.
For example: Schwalbe Marathons (plus extra reflective tape on the forks & handlebars)

Cheers for the feedback guys. I got hit by a car wing mirror the other day when waiting to turn right and I think this might just be the stuff to brighten up my black bike, as well as the multiple lights I already have.

have you tried warming the adhesive with a hair-dryer first?

I like those reflective tires, I would like to have some of those.
I just bought several colors of the 3M reflective tape but haven't put it on my bike yet. I might try to get fancy and make a pattern to match the white letters TREK on my frame and cut it out of the white tape I have. Still tossing around the idea because it might be more time than I want to spend on it.
