@User I am not sure if you will be back in Mumbai, but if you do I can really recommend the Dharavi 'slum' Tour. http://realitytoursandtravel.com/dharavi-tour.php They do many tours, but this is one I found a real eye opener. Thursday 20 April

We've booked out of the Gordon House Hotel and moved round the corner to the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. This is the view from our new room:

We should be meeting up with the rest of the tour group later today. Mr R is heading off out for the afternoon - I'm spending it chillaxing in air conditioned luxury reading a book and watching them prepare for tonight's concert.

Ahh, the old part of the hotel rather than the new tower block. Breakfast outside is lovely.

...we saw a tiger!

Off to bed now as we have a 4.30am start to go and see the Taj Mahal at sunrise.

Actually I have to say that Indian Tiger does do the rounds well. I saw it in Sariska Park in Rajasthan at Xmas 2012.
