Relective Sam Brown belts

I used to use reflective Sam Brown belts, but found that after about six months use they always tore at the points where the different sections join.

I've been wondering about getting a new one as they are so easy to carry around, and a good way to provide extra reflection if you get caught out after dark.

Does anyone know whether their construction has improved, or are some makes better than others?

You surprise me. I've still got one from 25 years ago and you're right, they are extremely easy to use and carry, highly visible and say two wheel vehicle to everyone.

Really? Mine lasted a lot longer than that. I can imagine it tearing though but due to them being so small.

Mine is really old - well knackered, but I still use it - came up fab after a scrub...... do really need a new one though as it's falling to bits....

Maybe construction has improved. I bought mine in Halfords (! I didn't know better then) 1.5 years ago and its pretty much as good as new
