Repairing holes in Vaude / Ortlieb panniers?

Hi - I have a pair of Vaude Aqua rear panniers, which I've been really happy with, but one of them has developed a small hole which needs repairing. I've been wondering how best to repair this, there's always the gaffer tape option I guess, but would prefer something more permanent.

I notice that Ortlieb do a repair kit for their "Classic" panniers (see: http://www.bikeplus.co.uk/cgi-bin/quikstore.pl?product=PBORTLIEB38?=1, which I think have similar material to the Vaude Aquas, so was wondering whether this might be worth a try?

I also found this (http://www.actionoutdoors.co.uk/sho....html?osCsid=af7694ba9e6643fc831a6cd7a2b3c62f ) "repair kit" for Vaude Aqualine panniers, but its £15 and its not clear what it contains!

Does anyone have any tips/recommendations for how to proceed? Thanks

Paul

I used this http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Ortlieb_Repair_Set_PS36C_Including_Glue/5360019593/ the patches are clear not coloured, but it worked fine. Mine was where the pannier (Ortlieb) and been rubbing on the kickstand on the front rack.

I used a puncture repair patch on the inside and seemed to have held up fine (ortlieb plus material). It's the inside material which is waterproof, the outside is just abrasion resistant. Not sure about the classics tho. How you do it, just age and wear? - the classic material in particular seems utterly bombproof.
