That's a very much appreciated move by us, as we worry about what the proverbial 'cyclist with headphones' might do as we pass them with sirens. If you actually stop, we know you know we are there.
However, it's not applicable in Sabians case as the car wasn't on a 'lights and sirens' run, it was just driving normally.
Indeed it was, so the fact it was a police car makes it sort of better. Easier to ID and complain!
I got a call back this afternoon and the guy said he'd spoken to her, listened to her side of the story (which he didn't explain but not that bothered really) and explained to her my problems. She agreed to "modify her driving style" and it's been noted on her employee record with their HR dept. He said because there were no independent witnesses they couldn't really do a lot else but I'm didn't expect them to anyway.
Can't really ask for more than that - he said I did the right thing by reporting, and that he understood me when I said it's an easy way to have a horrible and quite painful accident.
Proof not all Police Officers are bent, twisted morons hellbent on destroying the moral code of society
