I rescued a hybrid bike from the dump. It had been left around the back by a tenant and had stood outside for a couple of years. The chain was seized up with rust and had to saw the lock off.I soked the chain in white spirit and got it unseized. I straightyened out the wheels which were a bit buckled. Its all back together now a rides a treat and have been around the forests of mid Wales on it. It was going to be taked to the dump but it is satisfying to get it back working. I rescued a Claud Butler hybrid from a carboot sales that was all seized up and got it going again and now commute on it. Have any of you rescued any bikes from the dump?
