Respro anti pollution masks.

Does anyone know if these masks are worth having.

Some reports state that it filters out all but the most damaging pollutants which are too small to be caught - thus being of limited value.

Other reports that they are indispensable.

Does anyone have any thoughts and are there any other alternatives on the market????

No. Restricts breathing. Scare mongering about everything else. You willbe much healthier exercising, even in polluted areas. Car drivers take in more particulates.

I live in N.Wales where the air is clean.

Used to wear one. Restrictive, sweaty and gave me spots. Binned.

If you're bothered about air quality, get a Buff. Raise to cover your mouth and to sit just under your nostrils.

It's breathable and filters most of the nasties. Fine in warm weather too as it's quite thin and you don't get too hot
