Return of bikes from JOG (Wick)

Hi Guys,

We finshed LEJOG on 21st April and used a bike shop in Wick to ship our bikes back to us on the south coast.

The shop is called 'The Spot' and the contact is Brian Yellop who is a bloody nice bloke his e.mail is byellop1@aol.com

He packs the bikes up brilliantly with minimal dismantling so arrived in perfect condition and charges £49 to send it!

Highly recommended for the safe return of your trusty steed!!!

That's a great tip.
We ended up having to get my mate's mum and dad to drive up in their camper van to collect us!! They did present us with a bottle of McEwan's Champion each though and some ham and tomato butties

He really did do a good job!!! We flew back to Southampton from Wick, 12 days to get there 2 and a half hours back!!!!!

That is a good tip. Booking your bike back on one of the few trains per day that leave Wick is a lucky dip. Even if you manage that, there's no certainty you'll be able to get your bike on the connecting train at Aberdeen or wherever.
