They are all good, Crock.
Firstly, I might imagine myself in the photographer's shoes, and realise what I was watching and recording...
Then there are the 'natural disasters' like hurricane, earthquake, mudslide etc...
And then there comes the stupidity of so-called sophisticated societies in their quest to get the upper hand. The Israelis, the Americans, the Russians even - all throwing their 'weight' around.
Meanwhile, China carries on punishing Tibet - 50 years and counting. They are not getting weaker, and the Western economy is depending more and more on Chinese manufacturing...
All the sporting achievements, no matter how admirable, pale into insignificance compared to the more political images...I remember buying a copy of USA Today when that statue fell - was it really April 2003?
I wonder if the photograper's mentalities are modified or affected by what they see - or is it just a job...see what the next day brings. They see it all in real time.
