Has anyone else had issues looking at the Ribble Special Edition bikes on their mac? I've got Firfox, Safari and Camino and none of them will open the special edition page on Ribble's website. Can anyone tell me if it's something I'm doing wrong or am I going to have to go on the hunt for a pc?!

No idea what the dodgy update/missing numbers is! I've just updated the OS to snow leopard though the special ed page wouldn't work previously either. Can you point me towards the remedy for safari?

in network settings. go to advanced section. in the DNS box add these numbers and save

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

it worked on mine inc firefox

The DNS input still didn't make any difference, I'll have to investigate further. By the way, it also won't access on my work G5 either, so it's a problem at home and at work. Work computer is running Tiger though.

this is not a mac / pc issue

the site only works in internet explorer

is does not work in google chrome, safari or firefox on the pc or the mac

this is a problem for Ribble to fix, changing your dns settings or updating your mac won't fix it

mind you, when it loads there are no bikes on the page. just a paragraph that they sell special edition bikes and take 7 to 14 days to complete. so your not missing much. unless the link is not right

ahhhh well the op didn't explain that. i thought he meant it was 'hangin' which the mac update caused in safari. putting the dns numbers does stop the safari update problems on other sites tho. weirdest one being apples own site not loading

Yep, I can access the page, there's just no bikes on it. Just tried on IE on the mac and it won't work either, it loads the page then a box comes come up with 'Resetbuildcard - Object doesnt support this property' - well that's standard PC language ie. I don't have a clue what it means!

only ie5 is available for mac, as m*cros*ft stopped supporting ie for mac ages ago.
