Anybody have any experience with this bike? I've ridden a Ridgeback before and liked it. Having retired my Sirrus I think this might be my next commuter.

Drop bars and disc brakes the key attractions.

Any thoughts or issues appreciated.

Now I have disc brakes on my (drop bar) commuter and I won't go back to normal rim brakes.
What disc brakes are fitted?

You are in London, you don't need a triple for commuting. Do they have a double version? It will be a lot less hassle setting up the gears.

Edit: Just checked - Tektro disc brakes.

Had a triple on my Sirrus. Which I kind of liked. I frequent Crystal Palace area and as I'm not a climber I think I will appreciate those extra gears on Fridays legs.

Thoughts: - Can you fit mud guards and a carrier? How easy is it to get the wheels off (do you need to remove the caliper) Is the triple chainset going to be available in a couple of years time? - they are getting less common.

Fair enough, with those gears you could climb Mt Everest  .
It looks to have decent enough, tho' low Shimano Sora spec.

Actually it has BB5 disc brakes which are reportedly a bit of a pain to set up and keep set up properly.

Yes I can fit guards and a carrier. Wheels come off as easily as Mrs V's Flight 05. Not sure on future availability, I presume you mean for spare parts?

Thanks for feedback I'll look into any problems on the BB5's.

Took it for a test ride and it was set up in an aggressive stance, I will get used to that. Smooth ride but i'm not familiar with the sideways gearing triggers. Something else I'll have to get used to!

Think I like it!
