Right between the eyes !

Well, it was bound to happen.

Got rid of two wasp nests on the rear of the garage, but one nest was within old ivy that we've been removing. There must have been a few 'grubs' left as there was a handful of wasps about still.

So off I set removing ivy, couple of wasps, now't to worry about, then wham, right between the eyes - got dive bommed and one stung me a few times just above my eyebrows - bang centre.

First time I've ever been stung in 40 years - felt a bit like someone had slapped me. Took an antihistamine and still a little sore this morning.

Waspyfecker - I'll be 'avin ya and yer mates ! - I know who you are !

An angry Bee got me in the same spot last year - the eyebrow must attract them.

Looked like I'd done 10 rounds with one of the Klitschko brothers for a few days afterwards.

Watch out for prolonged redness and swelling, wasp stings can often give you a bacterial infection.
