I used to enjoy watching mash .

Having watched the original film when it was released I found the TV series very disappointing. The movie was very dark (And very funny) with characters who were far from the loveable, cuddly versions television turned them into.

MASH was one of those must-see tv series of my childhood. Hot Lips was a great character.
I never warmed to Alan Alda in any of the great tv and movies he played in.
Loretta Switt also played small part in Mission Impossible and was Cagney in the pilot movie of Cagney and Lacey and she played Miss Piggy in The Muppet Show.
